Focus Group Interpreting
Marketing Research companies often conduct focus groups for their clients. Their focus groups consists of a group of selected people who participate in a planned discussion with a moderator so that clients understand their consumer’s needs.
Focus group interpreting usually takes place at the market research company. The interpreter is seated in a room with observers and can see the discussion through a 2-way mirror. Such focus group interpretation usually last up to 2 hours and the interpreter does this as a solo interpretation.
